Co-operative culinary disaster management!

This is a clever card game that is about creating a soup with everyone having particular preferences for what should be added to the soup. It is a cooperative deduction game where the only communication is through a web app on your phone with which you let the other players know whether the current state of the soup satisfies your particular requirements.

The game is still in late stage development by Canberra-based author Jarrah Bloomfield. We first saw it being demonstrated at CanCon in January 2019 and when Jarrah later asked if we wanted a few copies from a small production run, we jumped at the chance.

What makes this game interesting and unique is that it cleverly integrates the web app to drive the game in a way that is both essential to the game play and enhances the game experience. The web app algorithmically ensures that the combination of player preferences can be solved while allowing scaling of difficulty. It also has a simple interface for conveying your level of satisfaction with current state of the soup to the other players after each player takes their turn.
